OUR PEOPLE

The consultancy du Preez Safety Health and Environmental is dedicated to provide a quality, professional, prompt, reliable and cost effective service to your organisation. 

The business is headed by Hugo du Preez (Principal Scientist and senior partner) with over 20 years governmental and industry experience in occupational hygiene, radiation and environmental. Hugo was employed for a decade by several major metalliferous and uranium mining companies in South Australia and the Northern Territory. Hugo was also employed by the Queensland Government agency (Simtars) for a period of 14 years (9 years as manager). Hugo is also a full member of the Australasian Radiation Protection Society (ARPS) and provisional member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH).  Hugo has a Bachelor degree in Applied Physics, Honours degree in Science, and a Graduate diploma in Occupational Hygiene.

Sam du Preez is the trainee OH&S consultant and has been working in the retail and services sectors for several years and is currently studying for a degree in Occupational Health and Safety.  Sam is highly motivated and keen to apply his skills in OH&S.
