On June 12 2012, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified diesel engine exhaust as carcinogenic to humans (Group 1).  Prior to this diesel exhaust was classified as probably carcinogenic to humans (group 2A).

If is strongly recommended that all stakeholders review potential exposures to diesel exhaust to reduce health risks.
